Burstall Lakes

Just a little solo day to get the heart rate up.
I went to the Burstall Pass area to see if the beacon training site was set up. It was not, but I decided to go exploring the snowshoe trail around Mud Lake. Ran into a guy who was quite familiar with the area, and he told me of a way to connect the snowshoe trail with the ski trail. It was quite difficult in places, with some bushwhacking and an avalanche runout to deal with, but now I know the area better. Take a look at the GPS map below.
