Taylor Lake

The slog up Taylor Creek was a lot tougher than I remembered!

We were spending the holidays in Canmore with Frank and Tiiu, and decided to burn off some of the excess chocolates and turkey by skiing up to Taylor Lake. Krista came along as well, but she decided to wander off into the woods instead of following the packed trail.

I didn't take many photos as I was a lot more tired than I expected, and the ski back down was a blur of tight turns.

Conditions are a bit thin but look very promising. We ran into two groups, a group of 3 skiers and a group of 2 snowshoers.

Here's a pic after getting out of Taylor Creek. The slopes in the background will be good for skiing after another dump or so.
