Three Sisters Falls

The drought in Southern California seems to be over for now, which means that many trails are in a very different condition than they have been for many years.

This trail starts at what I would consider a fairly remote and awkward trailhead, so we were surprised to see a large number of cars parked along the road. As a result, the trail was very busy, and the falls themselves especially so.

Parts of the trail were quite interesting, with steeper portions laid out with ropes to help with footing. There was a fair bit of congestion in these parts.

The falls themselves were quite nice, but what was more interesting was the exposed nature of the scrambling required to reach some parts of the falls. We had a lot of fun going up and down the trail before heading back home.
