It had been a while since we'd been hiking, as our more recent trips have all been climbing related. The weather has turned hot lately, so we were looking for something that had a bit of shelter. The bottom of San Mateo canyon via Fisherman's Camp Trail provided some cover and even had some flowing water in spots.
