EEOR

We do EEOR every year as it is one of my favourite hikes.

I was curious to see if there was any damage to the trail due to the floods, but aside from a few extra trees littering the slopes, it was the same as it has been in years previous.

We made really good time and got to the top of the first summit in 2 hours. After a long break with the summit all to ourselves, another group made it up to the first summit, so we moved on to the second summit.

The trail to the second summit was a bit sketchier than I remembered, but we all made it to the large, flat plateau for our second long break.

Starting early proved to be the right move, as always, as we encountered several groups coming up on our way down. Furthermore, it started to rain just as we reached the car, and then the clouds opened up as we were having our celebratory burgers and sodas afterward.
