Twilight Zone, Kid Goat

We had tried to do this route two weeks ago, but while at the top of pitch 2, it started hailing. We bailed, only to have the sun come out as we were hiking away.

Anyways, we were back, and surprisingly, the area was quite empty. 3 cars in the parking lot previous to our's, and only one party that I could see, maybe 2 pitches up Keelhaul Wall, by the time we got to the base of the cliff.

This is one of those "classic" Rockies short multipitch trad routes, which means it's loose, polished, and has plenty of pitons older than I am. However, after the first pitch, things do get a bit cleaner and there are some fun laybacks and finger cracks to play on.

Afterwards, we went to Canmore to partake in Beavertails and greasy food. A good day, but certainly makes me appreciate the clean lines and stable rock of Squamish.
