We had originally planned to ski in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, but it was -21C / -6F in the parking lot, so we pivoted to Banff, where it was a balmy -11C / 12F!
Both sides of the Spray River had been trackset, and in fact the tracks extended all the way to Goat Creek parking lot in Canmore, but we weren't planning for a 40km day, so we just did the loop.
