Pocaterra Cirque

Highwood Pass is looking like a ski resort!

It's amazing how many people are touring these days, and how many of them I know!

The road to Highwood Pass is only open for a couple more weeks, so we decided to head into Pocaterra Cirque. Apparently, many people had the same idea, as the parking lot was full by the middle of the day.

This was our first tour of the season, so we were just looking to get in some exercise and check out the early season base. Unfortunately, there wasn't much of a base at all and everyone was checking their skis to see how many gouges they had acquired.

It was good to get out and be reminded of how beautiful the world can be when covered with snow.
